10/21/2009 Combined DPRNOK and DPFOK meeting. Stillwater Library 12th & Duck

Board present: Danny Buntin, Keary Prophet, Clinton Wiles, Larry Bonnell, & Jeff Pickens
Guests: Mrs. Prophet, Morton Skrorodin. Morton joined the group.
2.
Discussion of upcoming Capitol Day activities.
McIntire, Rice, and Bill Nations were named as friendly to our legislation.
C. Wiles accepted task of getting a space reserved at the Capitol for a day in February, space preferably to be located on the 4th floor rotunda. Desired amenities were to be 20 chairs, 2 tables and a trash can.
It was brought up that Norma Sapp is supposed to have 30 - 50 patient names collected during her stint as lobbyist during a previous effort to influence legislation.

It was reported that Dana Lawrence had declined consideration as a board member.

After consideration of the available patient list, it was moved that each board member take a list of 10 patients and contact them to see what level of activity they would be willing to undertake. The recognized levels to be contact, visit to the capitol, and willing to make a speaking appearance. Passed unanimous.
5.
Treasurers report. After outlays for the cell phone and ½ of the Peace Festival table, $62.93 remains in the DPRNOK account and $81.29 in the DPFOK account.
Two new members were reported.
6.
Paypal was reported to be pending. D. Buntin and K. Prophet will inset the code to link contributions from the web site to the bank account.
7.
DPRNOK.NET is one of K. Prophet’s activities. He can provide other board members author access to post material to the site.

It was moved that the library program in Norman for the 21st be canceled. It passed unanimous.
